Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol consumption is permitted across the village by over 18's, howver we do ask that you put your empties in the bins provided around the green.

Parents of under 18 year olds are asked to note that Surrey Police will again have a zero tolerance of the carrying and consumption of alcohol by under 18's.

Confiscation points on the main entry points into Brockham will be strictly enforced with bags searched and alcohol confiscated. The local Off Licences and Licensed premises will observe a very strict enforcement of the Law.

Please do not purchase alcohol for your children to bring to Brockham. Please expect soft drink bottles laced with spirits to be treated in the same manner. The organisers and residents of Brockham do not want noisy and drunken children spoiling the fun for everyone else.

Please expect to be called by the Police to be asked to collect your children if the are drunk. If you cannot be contacted you child may be taken to a place of safety - a cell at Reigate Police Station.

Nearly 100 confiscations were made last year and every effort will be made to exceed this figure this year. Please help us to ensure the continuing success of Brockham Bonfire Celebrations by ensuring your children do not break the law.
